Applications
Le 1H,1H,2H,2H-perfluorodécyltrichlorosilane est un composé halogéné utilisé pour la recherche biochimique. Il est appliqué aux micropièces mobiles des systèmes micromécaniques, réduisant ainsi l’énergie de surface et empêchant l’adhérence. Il est de plus utilisé pour enduire les caractéristiques micro et nano sur les timbres pour la lithographie par nano-impression. En outre, il est utilisé dans la préparation de (1H,1H,2H,2H-heptadécafluorodécyl)triméthoxysilane en réagissant avec le méthanol.

Solubilité
Miscible avec le tétrahydrofurane, le tétrhydropyrane, le toluène et d’autres solvants organiques.
