3',5'-Dimethoxyacetophenone is used as starting reagent in the synthesis of 5,7-dimethoxy-3-methylindazole1. It was used in the synthesis of (R)-(+)-1-(3,5-dimethoxyphenyl)ethyl acetate-ether-180.
