Description
Dichloromethane is employed in pharmaceutical applications. Its utilization is as a solvent in manufacturing of fine chemicals, drugs, drug intermediates and pharmaceuticals, and also in food engineering. It is the solvent of choice for caffeine extraction. It is employed as a solvent and paint remover, and as a blowing agent for polyurethane foams. It is useful for the fraction of flash pyrolysis oil and for the extraction of benzo-15-crown-5.

Solubilité
Miscible avec l’acétate d’éthyle, l’alcool, les hexanes, le méthanol, l’éther diéthylique, le n-octanol, l’acétone benzène, le tétrachlorure de carbone, l’éther diéthylique et le chloroforme. Immiscible avec l’eau.
Remarques
Gardez le récipient bien fermé dans un endroit frais et bien ventilé. Incompatible avec les métaux alcalins, l’aluminium, les agents oxydants forts, les bases, les amines, le magnésium, les bases fortes acides et les composés vinyliques.
