Applications
Le perfluoro(méthylcyclohexane) est utilisé comme solvant pour déterminer la fluorophilie des esters d’acides nicotiniques fonctionnalisés par hydrocarbures et fluorocarbones. Il se combine avec le chloroforme et agit comme un ingrédient pour les réactions biphase “fluoreuses”. De plus, il trouve son application comme agent de transfert de chaleur, fluide diélectrique et traceur perfluorocarbone. Il agit comme un bon solvant pour les gaz.

Solubilité
Miscible à l’acétone et au benzène.

Remarques
Incompatible avec les agents oxydants forts.
