Description
Nerve growth factor (NGF), recombinant mouse protein is supplied as a lyophilized powder. It is suitable for use in performing cell based assays. It can also be used as a protein standard, or in other research applications.- Activity: Measured in a cell proliferation assay using TF1 human erythroleukemic cells; the ED50 for this effect is 0.2-2.0ng/mL
- Formulation: Lyophilized in 50mM Na acetate buffer, pH 5.5, 150mM NaCl, 5% Mannitol, 5% Trehalose, and 0.02% Tween 80
- Reconstitution: Dissolve the protein in sterile double distilled water to a concentration of 0.2mg/mL or lower; aliquot and use as soon as possible
