Description

Use these rotors with maximum load and at maximum speed for up to 50,000 cycles with low maintenance. Sigma™ Angle Rotors for Sigma™ Series 3 Centrifuges are ideal for use in research laboratories.

  • Fixed-angle rotors are used for sedimentation with high centrifugal forces of up to and more than 60,000 x g
  • Allow shorter sedimentation times in comparison to swing-bucket rotors 
  • Higher rotational speeds and higher centrifugal forces can be achieved
  • Sedimentation distance is also generally shorter than with swing-bucket rotors 
  • Capacity of the rotor chamber can be better utilized than with swing-bucket rotors
  • Rotors can be operated continuously at maximum speed and +4°C in nearly all Sigma centrifuges
