Ideal for titrations in laboratory applications. Sulfuric Acid, 0.5M, Chem-Lab is a dilute solution of 49.04g H2SO4 per liter of water for use in volumetric analysis.

Sulfuric acid is a highly corrosive, strong mineral acid that shows different properties depending upon its concentration. It is a pungent-ethereal, colorless to slightly yellow viscous liquid. Sulfuric acid is a diprotic acid that is hygroscopic. Concentrated sulfuric acid has strong dehydrating and oxidizing properties. Dilute sulfuric acid is a good electrolyte.
