1-Piperazineethanol is a hydroxyalkyl substituted pieprazine used in the preparation of pharmaceutical compounds. It is also used as an Intermediate in the manufacture of polyurethane catalysts, corrosion inhibitors, surfactants, synthetic fibers, pharmaceuticals. It is also used to synthesize triethylenediamine.

Applications
Le 1-pipérazineéthanol est une pieprazine substituée par hydroxyalkyle et utilisée dans la préparation de composés pharmaceutiques. Il est également utilisé comme intermédiaire dans la fabrication de catalyseurs de polyuréthane, d’inhibiteurs de corrosion, de surfactants, de fibres synthétiques, de produits pharmaceutiques. Il est également utilisé pour synthétiser la triéthylènediamine.

Solubilité
Miscible à l’eau. Miscible également à l’éthanol, l’acétone, l’éther benzène. Non miscible à l’hexane.

Remarques
Hygroscopique. Garder le récipient bien fermé dans un endroit sec et bien ventilé.
