1,3,5-Benzenetricarboxylic acid is used for the preparation of plastic, man-madefiber, water soluble alkyl resin, plasticizer and medicament intermediate. It is also used as a pharmaceutical intermediate, epoxy curing agent, plasticizers, adhesive and coating material. Further, it combines with para-hydroxypyridine to make a water-based gel.

Applications
L’acide 1,3,5-benzènetricarboxylique est utilisé pour la préparation du plastique, du madefiber humain, de la résine alkyle hydrosoluble, du plastifiant et de l’intermédiaire médico-soluble. Il est également utilisé comme intermédiaire pharmaceutique, agent de durcissement de l’époxy, plastifiants, adhésif et matériau de revêtement. De plus, il se combine avec la para-hydroxypyridine pour fabriquer un gel à base d’eau.

Solubilité
Soluble dans l’eau, l’éthanol et le méthanol.
