1,3,5-Triisopropylbenzene is used as a fuel and fuel additive. It is also used in lubricants and lubricant additives. Further, it is used in the preparation of 2,4,6-triisopropyl-benzenesulfonyl chloride. It is also employed as a swelling agent during the synthesis of mesoporous silica with two-dimensional hexagonal pores. In addition to this, it is used as a micelle expander in the synthesis of magnetic mesoporous silica nanoparticles.

Applications
Le 1,3,5-Triisopropylbenzène est utilisé comme carburant et additif de carburant. Il est également employé dans les lubrifiants et les additifs pour lubrifiants.
