3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)pheny1- magnesium iodide was prepared from 1-iodo-3,5- bis(trifluoromethyl)benzene. Monodeprotected masked hexayne was not particularly stable and hence was used directly without purification in a Sonogashira coupling with 1-iodo-3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)benzene to provide mono-aryl-end-capped masked hexayne.

Applications
L’iodure 3,5-bis(trifluorométhyl)phény1- magnesium a été préparé à partir de 1-iodo-3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)benzène. L’hexayne masqué monodéprotégé n’était pas particulièrement stable et a donc été utilisé directement sans purification dans un couplage de Sonogashira avec du 1-iodo-3,5-bis(trifluorométhyl)benzène afin d’obtenir de l’hexayne masqué à mono-aryle coiffé.

Solubilité
Légèrement soluble dans l’eau.

Remarques
Sensible à la lumière. Stockez-le dans un endroit frais. Garder le récipient bien fermé dans un endroit sec et bien ventilé. Conserver à l’écart des oxydants forts et à l’abri de la lumière.
