Description
1-Vinylimidazole is used as a monomer in the synthesis of molecularly imprinted polymers. It is involved in the removal of vinyl protecting groups with an isoprene-catalyzed lithiation process. Also, it is involved in the preparation of magnetic-poly(divinylbenzene-1-vinylimidazole) microbeads. Further, it is used to prepare ion imprinted polyvinylimidazole-silica hybrid copolymer.

Le 1-vinylimidazole est utilisé comme monomère dans la synthèse de polymères à empreinte moléculaire. Il est impliqué dans l’élimination des groupes de protection du vinyle avec un processus de lithiation catalysée par l’isoprène. Il participe aussi à la préparation de microbilles magnétiques en poly(divinylbenzène-1-vinylimidazole). De plus, il est utilisé pour préparer un copolymère hybride polyvinylimidazole-silice à empreinte ionique.
