Description
2,3 Diaminonaphthalene is a highly selective colorimetric and fluorometric reagent for selenium detection and also used for the fluorometric determination of nitrite. It is also useful for detection of ketones and alpha-keto acids.

Le 2,3-diaminonaphtalène est un réactif colorimétrique et fluorométrique hautement sélectif pour la détection du sélénium. Il est également utilisé pour la détermination fluorométrique du nitrite. Il est également utile pour détecter les cétones et les acides alpha-cétoniques.
Solubilité
Légèrement soluble dans l’eau. Soluble dans la pyridine, le diméthylsulfoxyde, le diméthyformamide, l’acide dil.chlorhydrique, l’éthanol, l’éther et le méthanol chaud.
