2,4,6-Tris(trifluoromethyl)-1,3,5-triazine is used to prepare 1-phenyl-4,6-bis-trifluoromethyl-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine by reacting with sodium 5-amino-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxylate.

Applications
Le 2,4,6-Tris(trifluorométhyl)-1,3,5-triazine sert à préparer la 1-phényl-4,6-bis-trifluorométhyl-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine en réagissant avec le 5-amino-1-phényl-1H-pyrazol-4-carboxylate de sodium.
