Description

2-Bromoisobutyryl bromide is used to prepare N-protected halodienamide, which provides four- and five-membered lactams in the presence of copper(I) and a tertiary amine. Further, it is used as atom transfer radical polymerization(ATRP) initiator for functionalization of hydroxyl groups present on the surface of graphene oxide. It is also used in preparation of polycaprolactone macroinitiators through reaction with oligomeric caprolactone diol and mesoporous silica nanoparticles with ATRP initiator anchored on the exterior surface.

Applications
Le bromure de 2-bromoisobutyryle est utilisé pour préparer l’halodiénamide protégé par la N, qui fournit des lactamines à quatre et cinq chaînons en présence de cuivre(I) et d’une amine tertiaire. De plus, il est utilisé comme initiateur ATRP pour la polymérisation des radicaux de transfert d’atomes pour la fonctionnalisation des groupes hydroxyles présents sur la surface de l’oxyde de graphène. Il est également utilisé dans la préparation de macromaniateurs polycaprolactoniques par réaction avec des nanoparticules de diol et de silice mésoporeux de caprolactoniques oligomériques avec un initiateur ATRP ancré sur la surface extérieure.

Solubilité
Miscible avec de l’acétone et du disulfure de carbone.
