Methyl-labeled diuron was prepared by the reaction of 3,4-dichlorophenyl- isocyanate with C 'labeled dimethylamine.Substituted urea derivatives were prepared by reacting 3,4-dichlorophenyl isocyanate with amino acids, dipeptides, histamine. The R- and S-isomers and RS-racemate of MBPU were synthesized by allowing equimolar quantities of 3,4-dichlorophenyl- isocyanate

Applications
Le diuron marqué au méthyle a été préparé par la réaction de l’isocyanate de 3,4-dichlorophényle avec diméthylamine marquée C′″. Les dérivés d’urée substitués ont été préparés par réaction de l’isocyanate de 3,4-dichlorophényl avec des acides aminés, des dipeptides et de l’histamine. On a synthétisé les isomères R et S et le racémate RS du MBPU en permettant des quantités équimolaires d’isocyanate de 3,4-dichlorophényle

Solubilité
Il s’hydrolyse dans l’eau.

Remarques
