4-Amino-3-hydrazino-5-mercapto-1,2,4-triazole is a reagent used in the determination of aldehydes and other reactive chemicals.was used in purpald assay for determination of bacterial polysaccharides containing substituted or unsubstituted glycol in residues such as glycerol, ribitol, arabinitol, furanosyl galactose and sialic acid. It was used as chromogen during the determination of catalase activity in small tissue samples. It was used as reagent in determination of formaldehyde. It was used for derivatization of neutral monosaccharides during HPLC.

Applications
L‘4-Amino-3-hydrazino-5-mercapto-1,2,4-triazole est un réactif utilisé pour la détermination des aldéhydes et dʼautres produits chimiques réactifs. Il a été utilisé dans le dosage purpalique pour la détermination des polysaccharides bactériens contenant du glycol substitué ou non substitué dans des résidus tels que le glycérol, le ribitol, lʼarabinitol, le furanosyl galactose et lʼacide sialique. Il a été utilisé comme chromogène lors de la détermination de lʼactivité de la catalase dans de petits échantillons de tissus. Il a été utilisé comme réactif dans la détermination du formaldéhyde. Il a été utilisé pour la dérivatisation de monosaccharides neutres lors de la HPLC.
