4-Nitrophenyl chloroformate is used in the synthesis of poly(oxyethylene) modified dextrans. It is also used to prepare a cleavable, heterobifunctional cross-linker for reversible conjugation of amines to thiol-modified DNA. Further, it is used in the synthesis of mixed, activated carbonates, thiocarbonates and activated urethanes. In addition to this, it is used in the preparation of 4-nitrophenyl diazoacetate with diazomethane.

Applications
Le chloroformiate de 4-nitrophényle est utilisé dans la synthèse de dextranes modifiés de poly(oxyéthylène). Il est également utilisé pour préparer un agent de réticulation hétérobifonctionnel clivable pour la conjugaison réversible des amines en ADN modifié par le thiol. De plus, il est utilisé dans la synthèse de carbonates, de thiocarbonates activés, mélangés et d’uréthanes activés. De plus, il est utilisé dans la préparation du diazoacétate de 4-nitrophényle avec du diazométhane.

Solubilité
Soluble dans l’acétone, le chloroforme, l’acétone, le toluène et le benzène.

Remarques
