Azetidine is involved in a high yielding palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction with aryl bromides. Further, it is used in Ullmann type coupling reaction with iodonitroflourenes. In addition to this, it reacts with bis-(3-amino-propyl)-amine to prepare N,N'-bis-(3-amino-propyl)-propanediyldiamine using palladium as a catalyst.

Applications
L’azétidine est impliquée dans une réaction de couplage croisé catalysée par le palladium à haut rendement avec des bromures d’aryle. De plus, elle est utilisée dans la réaction de couplage de type Ullmann avec l’iodonitroflorenes. Elle réagit en outre avec la bis-(3-amino-propyl)-amine pour préparer la N,N′-bis-(3-amino-propyl)-propanediyldiamine en utilisant le palladium comme catalyseur.
