Colorant utile pour les gels SDS car il colore facilement les protéines avec une couleur de fond minimale

  • Il s’agit d’une coloration protéique utilisé en électrophorèse.
  • Il a été utilisé dans le dosage des protéines liant le colorant Bradford.
  • Un mécanisme de liaison des colorants aux protéines a été proposé, basé sur la mesure des spectres d’absorbance Coomassie Brilliant Blue G-250 (CBBG) lors de la titration du réactif colorant en l’absence de protéines et de sa réponse à différents acides polyaminés.
  • Le bleu brillant G a été utilisé pour déterminer la concentration micellaire critique des détergents.
