Description

Endotoxin-free water is specifically designed for use in applications that require extremely low endotoxin levels, including cell culture, protein work, molecular biology, and pharmaceutical or medical device testing.

It is important to use high-resistivity purified water (18.2 MΩ) with very low organic content (TOC ≤15 ppb) and free of endotoxins. Endotoxins can significantly alter cell growth and morphology - for example, in cardiomyocytes and may also subtly affect cell function. Working with cultures unknowingly contaminated with endotoxins can lead to inaccurate results and wasted time, money, and effort. Using Endotoxin Free water can effectively prevent this risk.

  • Ultra Pure Water is sterile filtered through a 0.05-micron filter and is considered endotoxin-free (<0.005 EU/mL)
