Description

Ethyl 4-bromobenzoate undergoes reduction with potassium diisobutyl-t-butoxyaluminum hydride (PDBBA) at 0°C to yield aldehydes. Reaction of ethyl 4-bromobenzoate and substituted benzyl chloride with zinc dust and a Pd catalyst is reported.

Applications
Le 4-bromobenzoate d’éthyle subit une réduction avec l’hydrure de diisobutyl-t-butoxy aluminium (PDBBA) de potassium à 0°C pour produire des aldéhydes. La réaction du 4-bromobenzoate d’éthyle et du chlorure de benzyle substitué avec la poussière de zinc et un catalyseur Pd est reportée.
