iConnect Flame Ionization Detector (FID) enables highly sensitive detection of organic compounds with a wide linear dynamic range, fast acquisition speed, and flexible modular integration for efficient GC workflows.

  • Linear dynamic range greater than 107(±10%) enables accurate quantification of analytes across a broad concentration range
  • High sensitivity with minimum detectable level (MDL) less than 1.2 pg C/s and sensitivity greater than 0.03 Coulombs/gC
  • Small cell volume and rapid acquisition rate (up to 600 Hz) support both standard and fast GC applications
  • Maximum operating temperature up to 450°C
  • Integrated electronic gas control (IEC) for precise regulation of air (0 to 500 mL/min), hydrogen (0 to 100 mL/min), and makeup gas (N2 or He, 0 to 50 mL/min)
  • Flameout detection with automatic re-ignition improves operational reliability and reduces downtime
  • Optimized for capillary columns and compatible with 1/8 in. and 1/16 in. packed columns
  • Modular iConnect design allows tool-free installation and replacement in minutes, enabling rapid system reconfiguration
