Iodomethane is used to control insects, plant parasitic nematodes, soil borne pathogens and weed seeds. Iodomethane as a potential metal mobilizing agent in nature. Microhydration effects on the intermediates of the S(N)2 reaction of iodide anion with methyl iodide.

Applications
