Applications
Utilisé comme arôme synthétique, répulsif contre les mites, médicament topique contre l’herpès labial, pommade musculaire et suppresseur de toux par inhalation. Il est également utilisé dans les parfums.

Solubilité
Insoluble dans l’eau. Soluble dans le dipropylène glycol, l’alcool éthylique (1 g dans 2 ml d’alcool à 70 %).
