Isopropyl tetradecanoate is used as a solvent in perfume products and the oil phase in the preparation of formulations. It finds application in eye makeup, nail care products, soaps and detergents, hair care products, shaving products and other skin care products. It behaves as a non-aqueous component of the two-phase mouthwash, Dentyl pH, thereby it removes bacteria from the oral cavity.

Applications
Le tétradécanoate d’isopropyle est utilisé comme solvant dans les produits parfumants et la phase huile dans la préparation des formulations. Il est utilisé dans le maquillage des yeux, les produits de soins des ongles, les savons et détergents, les produits de soins capillaires, les produits de rasage et autres produits de soins de la peau. Il se comporte comme un composant non aqueux du bain de bouche à deux phases, le Dentyl pH, ce qui élimine les bactéries de la cavité buccale.

Miscible avec de l’alcool. Immiscible avec l’eau et le glycérol.
