Lyo-ready SuperScript III Flash RT is suitable for one-step RT-qPCR applications, helping ensure extremely short RT step time along with improved specificity, reliability, and thermostability.

Invitrogen Lyo-ready SuperScript III Flash Reverse Transcriptase joins the SuperScript product family as a reverse transcriptase designed for one-step RT-qPCR and point-of-care assay development. It is a novel SuperScript III Reverse Transcriptase variant, engineered for enhanced speed, thermostability, and inhibitor tolerance. Lyo-ready SuperScript III Flash Reverse Transcriptase provides enhanced sensitivity as low as five copies per reaction.

Hot start

Lyo-ready SuperScript III Flash Reverse Transcriptase is inactive at ambient temperatures due to the hot start mechanism, which enables room temperature reaction setup and improved specificity and consistency of RT-qPCR results. When used in conjunction with hot start DNA polymerase, such as Lyo-ready Platinum™ II Taq DNA Polymerase, a fully assembled master mix can be stored at room temperature for up to 24 hours, enabling high-throughput applications and compatibility with automation and point-of-care assay development. Due to enhanced specificity, this pair of enzymes also enables multiplex RT-qPCR of up to five targets.

Lyo-ready

Lyo-ready SuperScript III Flash Reverse Transcriptase is a glycerol-free enzyme that ensures compatibility with microfluidics, air-drying, and lyophilization technologies. For a full lyo-ready one-step RT-qPCR solution, we recommend using SuperScript III Flash Reverse Transcriptase together with Lyo-ready Platinum II Taq DNA polymerase.
