N-Cyclohexylhydroxylamine hydrochloride is used in the preparation of 4-carbethoxy-2-cyclohexyl-5-(2H)-isoxazolone and hexahydroisoxazolequinoline analogs. It is also used in the preparation of N-cyclohexyl nitrone by reaction with aldehyde. Further, it acts as a hydroxylamination reagent for allyl esters. In addition to this, it serves as a reagent in the conversion of 1,2-dicarboxylic acids to alfa-beta-unsaturated carboxylic acids.

Applications
Le chlorhydrate de N-cyclohexylhydroxylamine est utilisé dans la préparation d’analogues de 4-carbethoxy-2-cyclohexyl-5-(2H)-isoxazolone et d’hexahydroisoxazolequinoline. Il est également utilisé dans la préparation de la nitrone N-cyclohexyl par réaction avec l’aldéhyde. De plus, il agit comme réactif d’hydroxylamination pour les esters allyliques. En outre, il sert de réactif dans la conversion des acides 1,2-dicarboxyliques en acides carboxyliques alpha-bêta non saturés.

Solubilité
Soluble dans l’eau.
