Description

Perfluoro(decahydronaphthalene) is used to dissolve gases. Due to its gas carrying capacity, it is utilized to increase oxygen delivery during cell culture. It acts as an ingredient in fluosol which is an artificial blood product. It is also used to dissolve Teflon.

This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand. The original Alfa Aesar product / item code or SKU reference has not changed as a part of the brand transition to Thermo Scientific Chemicals.

Applications
Le perfluoro(décahydronaphtalène) est utilisé pour dissoudre les gaz. En raison de sa capacité de transport de gaz, il est utilisé pour augmenter la distribution d’oxygène pendant la culture cellulaire. Il agit comme un ingrédient du fluosol qui est un produit sanguin artificiel. Il est également utilisé pour dissoudre le téflon.
