Phenol red is used as a non absorbed marker in gravimetric method. It is a pH indicator used in cell biology laboratories and in home swimming pool test kits. It is used to check the kidney function based on the excreted phenol red by colorimetric method.

Applications
Le rouge de phénol est utilisé comme marqueur non absorbé par la méthode gravimétrique. Il s’agit d’un indicateur de pH utilisé dans les laboratoires de biologie cellulaire et dans les kits de test de piscine résidentielle. Il est utilisé pour vérifier la fonction rénale en fonction du rouge de phénol excrété par la méthode colorimétrique.

Solubilité
Soluble dans l’eau, l’éthanol et le méthanol. Insoluble dans le chloroforme.

Remarques
