Phenylarsine oxide is used as a poultry coccidiostat in veterinary medicine. It is also used in a membrane-permeable protein tyrosine phosphatase inhibitor.

Applications
L’oxyde de phénylarsine est utilisé comme coccidiostat de volaille en médecine vétérinaire. Il est également utilisé dans un inhibiteur de la protéine tyrosine phosphatase perméable à la membrane.

Solubilité
Soluble dans le diméthylsulfoxyde, le chloroforme, le benzène, l’éther, l’éthanol, 50:50 et le diméthylsulfoxyde : 1 M d’acide chlorhydrique (3,0 mg/ml) et de toluène. Insoluble dans l’eau.

Remarques
Incompatible avec les agents oxydants forts.
