(R)-1-phenylethyl isocyanate is used in the derivatisation of alcohols, thiocarbamates and hydroxy fatty acids. (R)-1-phenylethyl isocyanate moderately inhibited both BP-DNA adducts.

Applications
L’isocyanate de (R)-1-phényléthyle est utilisé dans la dérivation d’alcools, de thiocarbamates et d’acides gras hydroxy. L’isocyanate de (R)-1-phényléthyle inhibe modérément les deux adduits d’ADN-BP.

Se décompose dans l’eau.
