(S)-(+)-2-Phenylglycinol is used in the synthesis of chiral, unsymmetrical bisoxazolines. It is used as a reagent for the resolution of acids via the easily hydrolyzed amides.

Applications
(S)-(+)-2-phénylglycinol est utilisé dans la synthèse de bisoxazolines chirales et asymétriques. Il est utilisé comme réactif pour la résolution des acides par l’intermédiaire des amides facilement hydrolysées.

Solubilité
Soluble dans le chloroforme, le diméthylsulfoxyde et le méthanol. Solubilité limitée dans l’eau.

Remarques
