Silver nanopowder is involved in the coating of silver and is used for medicinal purposes and in medical devices. Its larger surface area to volume ratio and greater activity of nano-silver are utilized in modern biochemical applications and drug delivery. It is also used in the fabrication of graphite epoxy nanocomposites and optical fiber sensors. Furthermore, it is involved in the formulation of water based ink.
