Applications
Le monostéarate de sorbitan est utilisé comme émulsifiant et comme surfactant non ionique. Il est utilisé dans les cosmétiques, les produits pharmaceutiques et les préparations alimentaires.

Solubilité
Soluble dans l’éthanol (50 mg/ml), l’isopropanol, l’huile minérale et l’huile végétale. Insoluble dans l’eau.

Remarques
Garder le récipient hermétiquement fermé. Stocker dans des conditions fraîches et sèches et dans des récipients bien scellés. Conserver à température ambiante. Incompatible avec les agents oxydants forts.
