Description

IBA GmbH™ Strep-Tactin™ XT Superflow™ Haute capacité est une purification en une étape des protéines de fusion Strep-tag™ et Twin-Strep-tag™ avec une haute affinité et une pureté inégalée.

  • Strep-Tactin™XT Superflow™ high capacity is a 6% agarose coupled with the streptavidin variant Strep-Tactin™XT and applicable for purification of Strep-tag™II or Twin-Strep-tag™ fusion proteins.
  • It allows the addition of denaturing agents such as urea during the purification procedure. In comparison to Strep-Tactin™ XT Superflow™, Strep-Tactin™XT Superflow™ high capacity has a higher density of immobilized Strep-Tactin™XT, which leads to a 3- to 5-fold higher yield of purified protein.
  • As with any other Strep-Tactin™XT resins, the unspecific protein binding is extremely low, which results in an outstanding purity of the target protein.
  • The suspension can be used for packing of gravity flow columns since the resin is optimized for column affinity chromatography, rather than for batch purification.
  • To pack a column with 1 ml resin bed volume, 2 ml 50% suspension are necessary.
