Thiazole-2-carboxaldehyde may be used as a reactant in the following syntheses Benzothiazine N-acylhydrazones, having potential antinociceptive and anti-inflammatory activity, Thiazole-2-yl-(amino)methylphosphonate diethyl esters, Imino ester by reacting with L-leucine t-butyl ester hydrochloride. Also used in building block for taxane analogs.

Applications
Le thiazole-2-carboxaldéhyde peut être utilisé comme réactif dans les synthèses suivantes : benzothiazine N-acylhydrazones, ayant une activité antinociceptive et anti-inflammatoire potentielles, thiazole-2-yl-(amino)méthylphosphonate diéthyl esters, Imino ester en réagissant avec le L-leucine t-butyl ester hydrochloride.
