Tween 20 washing buffer, 0.5% in PBS (10X) is used as a wash solution for western blot membranes and microtiter plate wells in ELISA assays. It acts as a pH stabilizer in optimal formulation, salts and detergents designed to effectively remove excess material from membranes.
