VetMAX Fast Multiplex Master Mix with ROX is designed to be a fast-cycling-capable, multiplex-assay-compatible one-step RT-PCR master mix for animal molecular diagnostics.

VetMAX Fast Multiplex Master Mix with ROX is designed to be a fast-cycling-capable, multiplex-assay-compatible one-step RT-PCR master mix for testing in animal-derived samples. It can be used to amplify pathogenic DNA and RNA present in a variety of animal sample matrices, including ones with challenging PCR inhibitors. The fast-cycling capability, combined with multiplexing compatibility, allows for rapid and accurate real-time PCR results in <50 minutes.

Features of VetMAX Fast Multiplex Master Mix with ROX include:

  • Minimize time to results while maximizing accuracy and analytical sensitivity; amplify both DNA and RNA targets on the same plate using fast cycling
  • Improve flexibility by running up to four targets (not including the passive reference dye, ROX) on the same plate; run all assays using the same fast cycling thermal profile for improved efficiency
  • Increase analytical sensitivity of assays; formulated for increased analytical sensitivity while still being fast-cycling capable and multiplex-assay compatible
  • Strengthen reaction tolerance to inhibitors commonly found in animal-sourced sample matrices such as blood, feces, oral fluids, milk, and smegma

VetMAX Fast Multiplex Master Mix with ROX has been designed for multiplexing up to four targets (not including the passive reference channel, ROX). This meets the demand for more data per reaction and does so with increased analytical sensitivity and accuracy.
