3-Methyl-4-nitrophenol is a biochemical used in the preparation of phosphorothioamidate analogues as antimalarial agents. 3-methyl-4-nitrophenol has anti-androgenic activity. PNMC significantly inhibits basal and hCG-stimulated testosterone production in rats.

Applications
3-Méthyl-4-nitrophénol est une substance biochimique utilisée dans la préparation d’analogues phosphorothioamidate en tant qu’agents antipaludiques. Le 3-méthyl-4-nitrophénol a une activité anti-androgène. Le PNMC inhibe significativement la production de testostérone basale et stimulée par l’hCG chez les rats.
