For maximum recovery please spin prior to use. Unless noted below, aliquots of the 5 μg, 10 μg and 20 μg sizes of kinase are not recommended as materials can be used in original packaging until exhausted. For larger sizes, the number of freeze/thaws may be reduced by preparing aliquots, aliquots below 20 μL are not recommended. Please never store a kinase diluted. CNSK1A1 (CK1 alpha 1) is a member of the casein kinase I (CKI) gene family, which encodes serine/threonine kinases that preferentially phosphorylate acidic substrates. CKI proteins are monomeric, ranging from 25 to 55 kD, and are found in the nuclei, cytoplasm, and membrane fractions of eukaryotic cells. It can phosphorylate a large number of proteins. Participates in Wnt signaling. Phosphorylates CTNNB1 at 'Ser-45'. May phosphorylate PER1 and PER2. May play a role in segregating chromosomes during mitosis.
