Description

Cyanuric acid acts as a chlorine stabilizer in swimming pools. It is used as a precursor to N-chlorinated cyanurates, which are used to disinfect water and crosslinking agents for polyurethane resins. It serves as a process regulator. Further, it is used in the diagnostic determination of melamine and related compounds in kidney tissue.

Solubilité
Soluble dans l’acide sulfurique, le diméthylformamide, l’hydroxyde de sodium, l’hydroxyde de potassium et le diméthylsulfoxyde. Légèrement soluble dans l’acétone, le benzène, l’éther diéthylique, l’éthanol et l’hexane. Insoluble dans le méthanol froid, le benzène et le chloroforme.
