Description
Glycine is widely used as a buffer for a variety of immunological applications. It is frequently used in the preparation of TG Buffers where the buffer is used as a running and/or transfer buffer for polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and western blotting. Glycine is also used as an eluent in column chromatography. Glycine has been reported for use in the enzymatic determination of lactate using lactic dehydrogenase.

La glycine est largement utilisée comme tampon pour diverses applications immunologiques. Elle est fréquemment employée dans la préparation de tampons TG, où le tampon est utilisé comme tampon de transfert et / ou de migration pour les transferts Western et l’électrophorèse sur gel de polyacrylamide. Solubilité
Non miscible ou difficile à mélanger dans l’eau. Légèrement soluble dans l’acétone. Insoluble dans l’alcool et l’éther.
