Recombinant Protein

Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (92%), Rat (92%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-52988 (PA5-52988. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

Glycosyltransferase that generates the core 1 O-glycan Gal-beta1-3GalNAc-alpha1-Ser/Thr (T antigen), which is a precursor for many extended O-glycans in glycoproteins. Plays a central role in many processes, such as angiogenesis, thrombopoiesis and kidney homeostasis development.
