Recombinant Protein

Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (31%), Rat (31%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-58686 (PA5-58686. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

This gene encodes a member of the fibroblast growth factor binding protein family. The encoded protein is a serum protein that is selectively secreted by cytotoxic lymphocytes and may be involved in cytotoxic lymphocyte-mediated immunity. An increase in the amount of gene product may be associated with atopic asthma and mild extrinsic asthma.
