Recombinant Protein

Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (97%), Rat (97%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-51899 (PA5-51899. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

Members of this G protein family are characterized by the presence of conserved SNF2 domain, a helicase-like region. They also have an ATPase activity and are thought to have a significant role regulating chromatin remodeling. Although SNF2L1 has a ubiquitous expression pattern, its active form is expressed in neurons suggesting a possible role in promoting neurite outgrowth and regulating neuronal physiology.
