Promoteur de tumeur

La thapsigargine est une lactone sesquiterpène d’origine naturelle isolée de la plante ombellifère Thapsia garganica. Ce promoteur de tumeur libère du Ca2++ des réserves intracellulaires en inhibant spécifiquement le réticulum endoplasmique Ca2++-ATPase. Il n’affecte pas directement la membrane plasmique Ca2++-ATPases, la production d’Ins1,4,5-P3 ou l’activité de la protéine kinase C.
