Granulysin Monoclonal Antibody (eBioDH2 (DH2)), Alexa Fluor™ 647, eBioscience™, Invitrogen™
Mouse Monoclonal Antibody
Marque: Invitrogen 51-8828-42
Description
The eBioDH2 MAb reacts with human granulysin, a protein involved in the cytolytic pathway. Granulysin is a member of the saposin-like protein (SAPLIP) family. Two proteins 9 and 15kDa are thought to be post translation modified versions of the 15kDa protein with a change in confirmation. Granulysin is found in NK and activated T cells and the expression is confined to the cytolytic granules which also contains perforin and granzyme. Granulysin with perforn are suspected to function synergistically to kill bacteria and induce apoptosis in nucleated cells. Applications Reported: This eBioDh2 antibody has been reported for use in intracellular staining followed by flow cytometric analysis. Applications Tested: This eBioDh2 antibody has been pre-diluted and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells using the Intracellular Fixation & Permeabilization Buffer Set (Product # 88-8824-00) and protocol. This may be used at 5 μL (0.25 μg) per test. A test is defined as the amount ( μg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 μL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. Excitation: 633-647 nm; Emission: 668 nm; Laser: Red Laser
GNLY is a member of the saposin-like protein (SAPLIP) family and is located in the cytotoxic granules of T cells, which are released upon antigen stimulation. GNLY is present in cytotoxic granules of cytotoxic T lymphocytes and natural killer cells, and it has antimicrobial activity against M. tuberculosis and other organisms.Spécification
