Recombinant Protein

Recombinant Murine LIX is a 7.6 kDa protein consisting of amino acid residues 9-78 of the full length LIX protein (70 amino acids). This product is shipped at ambient temperature. For storage, handling and reconstitution information, please see the lot-specific Certificate of Analysis

CXCL6 is a chemotactic for neutrophil granulocytes. It signals through binding and activation of its receptors (CXCR1 and CXCR2). In addition to its chemotactic and angiogenic properties, it has strong antibacterial activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria (90-fold-higher when compared to CXCL5 and CXCL7).
